TU Head Coach Frank Haith Talks March Madness, AAC Championship

Tulsa Head Coach Frank Haith addressed the media to discuss the Golden Hurricane’s preparation for the American Athletic Conference Championship.

Haith says his team is excited about their opportunity to start the postseason in Orlando.

TU (20-10, 12-6 AAC) opens the tournament as a third seed against sixth-seeded Memphis (17-14, 8-10 AAC) on Friday night at 8:00 p.m. The quarterfinal matchup will be televised on ESPNU.

For the second straight year, Golden Hurricane mainstays James Woodard and Shaquille Harrison earned All-American Athletic Conference awards. Woodard earned first team honors while Harrison earned second-team.
