Firefighters Battle Osage County Grass Fire

Several agencies fought a grass fire in Osage County Wednesday afternoon. News On 6 reporter Tess Maune said the fire is a few miles north of Pawhuska, along Highway 60 at 4220 Road.

The area got very little rain Tuesday so the ground is still very dry. 

The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Oklahoma Forestry Services and Pawhuska firefighters were scene. 

Osage County Emergency Management said they are working a controlled burn in the same area.
