Suspected Waffle House Robber In Police Custody

The man suspected of robbing a Tulsa Waffle House after eating is now in police custody.

Tulsa Police believe Andrew Deweese, ordered food at the Waffle House near 71st and Mingo around 3:30 Thursday morning then passed a threatening note to an employee, demanding money.

Police said Deweese got away with some cash and drove away in an older model pickup.

Jail records show he was booked on one count of first-degree robbery by force or fear. He's being held on a $50,000 bond.
