Slider:
1lb Ground Beef
1lb Ground Pork
1 Tbs Garlic Powder
1 Tbs Onion Powder
1 Tbs Fresh Thyme
1 tsp Cumin
1 tsp Red Chili Flakes
12 Slider Buns
Slaw:
1 cup Green Cabbage, Shaved
1 cup Red Cabbage, Shaved
1 cup Kale, Finely Chopped
½ cup Cilantro, Chopped
½ Red Onion, Shaved
½ cup Slivered Almonds
Dressing:
¼ cup Lime Juice
¼ cup Tamari
¼ cup Water
¼ cup Peanut Butter
2 Tbs Sriracha
1 tsp Ginger Powder
1 Tbs Minced Garlic
Salt and Pepper, to taste
Method: Combine beef and pork with seasonings, and make 12- 3oz patties. Cook in a sauté pan until the patties have reached an internal temperature of 160 degrees. In a medium bowl, whisk together dressing ingredients until the liquid is smooth. (If it is too thick, add more water and adjust the salt and pepper accordingly.)
Pour dressing over the slaw ingredients and stir together. Place slider on bun and top with slaw. Top it with the other half of the bun, stick a fancy toothpick in it, and build a platter.
