City of Tulsa water department workers have repaired a 16-inch line which broke Tuesday afternoon at South Harvard and East 17th Street.
The city says service was restored by 6 a.m. Wednesday.
The city says a contractor will now begin work on repairing the damaged street.
Officials say traffic on Harvard Avenue between East 17th Street and East 21st Street has been moved to the southbound lanes and is limited to one northbound lane and one southbound lane.
They expect that work to be finished within the next seven days, weather permitting.
