Some of Oklahoma's Own are once again coming together to help a sailor injured in the line of duty.
We first told you about retired U.S. Navy Chief Zach Browers in November 2015.
Browers was serving on the USS John Stennis, supporting operations in Afghanistan when he was injured.
He received 14 surgeries, after which he was left medically disabled.
He couldn't easily use his old bathroom, so Soldier's Wish, Lowes, Subway and Red Dog Construction came together to renovate his bathroom and make it more accessible.
"We're just trying to bring a lot of people in together to help bless this family for his service to this country," Red Dog Construction’s Dave Dankert said.
Browers said he never expected something like this to be given to him, but he is grateful.
Work on the bathroom should be done within a week.
