A woman who had been living out of her daughter's car ended up out on the street on some of the coldest nights of the season.

But, thanks to Tulsa police officers and some News On 6 viewers, Eva Crain and her dog have a new home.

Tuesday, officers brought in a TV, microwave and a few other household items for Crain's apartment.

She was working with a case worker to get into her own apartment but was still left out on the streets for a few nights because most shelters would not let her bring her dog.

“And then my angels came, that is Officer Murphy and Officer Johnson, they were like angels that just came out from heaven for me,” she said.

Crain first thought the officers were going to arrest her for trespassing, and she couldn't believe it when they took her to a motel and paid for her room.
