Police Say Pair Borrowed Truck, Owners Shot In Attempt To Recover Their Property

Tulsa police were called after shots were fired near Pine and Lewis on Saturday afternoon.

Officers said a dispute started between two couples after one borrowed a truck from the other.

According to TPD, the pair who borrowed the truck didn't want to return it, and the owners tried to chase them down.

The couple borrowing the truck fired a shot at the vehicle the owners were driving in the pursuit, police said.

The bullet apparently struck the driver, but it lost so much energy as it passed through the truck's door, it caused no injuries, TPD said.

The shooters reportedly continued on in the borrowed truck and no arrests have been made at this time.
