Wreck Kills 6 In Mayes County

Six people are dead following a wreck in Mayes County. It happened near Mazie on Highway 69 just north of County Road 620. 

The wreck took place shortly after midnight Friday, according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Troopers say a minivan carrying seven people hydroplaned, crossed the center median and was hit head on by a semi. 

Sources say the only survivor was an infant, but that has not been confirmed by OHP. 

The wreck has been cleared. No names have been released as authorities work to notify next of kin.
