Neighbors in Pryor said they found what looks like a bullet hole in the garage door across the street from where a 14-year-old boy was shot New Year's Day.

Tuesday, officers were back at the house taking measurements and checking out trajectories.

Investigators say Cole Peyton was ringing doorbells and running when a neighbor shot him.

Police, OSBI investigators and the Mayes County District Attorney met Monday to discuss the case.

The shooter has not been arrested, but has hired an attorney.

Pryor attorney Chuck Ramsey confirms he's been in contact with the shooter, who police haven’t identified or arrested.

Ramsey said he and his client will not comment on the shooting.

Peyton is still recovering in the hospital. His mother said she hopes the shooter, her neighbor, will be arrested.
