A Bartlesville man is in the Washington County jail on complaints of kidnapping and assaulting his ex-girlfriend earlier this month.
According to a court affidavit, Lloyd Ray Conner, 45, broke into the victim's home on December 19, attacked her then bound her hands and feet with duct tape and then put her into her van.
The victim told police Conner first took her to rural Washington County near Copan where he sexually assaulted her. She told police Conner then drove her back to Bartlesville, took money out of her purse and rented a motel room where he repeatedly threatened and assaulted her.
She told police Conner put her back in the van the next day and drove around town. The victim said while Conner was in a local store, she got the attention of a couple in a nearby car saying she needed help and was in fear for her life. The couple took down the van's license plate number and called police.
Police said surveillance video and evidence found on her body and at the locations the woman described support her description of what happened.
Conner is being held in the Washington County jail on complaints of rape, kidnapping, burglary, domestic abuse and robbery. Court records show he is being held on a $750,000 bond with a court appearance set for January 22.
