Police arrested a driver after they said he ran a red light near downtown Tulsa early Saturday and didn't stop when officers tried to pull him over.

Officers said Eric Magallanes, 32, led police on a chase from 13th and Utica to 3600 block of North Peoria where he was eventually stopped thanks to the use of spike strips causing the front two tires to got flat on the Dodge pickup.

They said the chase began just before 1 a.m.

Police said the truck turned out to be stolen.

Magallanes was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of eluding, possession of a stolen vehicle, DUI, driving under suspension and grand larceny.  Jail records show he is being held on a $23,500 bond with court appearance set for January 4
