Man Falls To Death From I-244 Bridge

Tulsa police said a man fell to his death from the Yale Avenue overpass about 2 p.m. on Thursday.

Police said they believe the man jumped. Personal items were left behind on the overpass, so police know his identity and are in the process of notifying next of kin.

The eastbound lanes at I-244 and Delaware were shut down during the afternoon, and traffic delays should be expected during rush hour. Drivers are encouraged to take an alternate route.
