Woman Dies After Head-On Crash In Broken Arrow

Broken Arrow Police say a woman died in a head-on crash Friday morning.

Officers said a silver Lincoln was southbound on Elm at about 5 a.m. when it went left of center and struck a northbound Dodge Dart.  

Firefighters took the driver of the Lincoln to a Broken Arrow hospital where she died. Police identified her as Sheryl Smith, 58, of Tulsa.

The two people in the Dart were treated at the scene and released. 

Police closed the northbound lanes of Elm just north of Kenosha to investigate the crash.  The road was reopened just before 9 a.m.
