Police closed all four lanes of Yale Avenue because of a downed power line. Police reopened one lane in each direction at about 1 p.m.

Yale was closed from 27th to 29th Street. Police said the westbound entrance ramp onto the BA expressway was open, so was the intersection at 31st and Yale.

A delivery truck clipped the power line which snapped the pole at about 10 a.m. PSO will have to replace the pole in order to get the power line out of the way of traffic. PSO did not give an estimate for how long that will take.

PSO said the incident knocked out power to six customers. No one reported any injuries.
