Loose Trailer Causes Traffic Snarl At IDL In Downtown Tulsa

A truck lost its trailer on Wednesday at the tail end of the morning commute, causing a little traffic backup at the inner dispersal loop.

The trailer came loose from the truck pulling it, and the driver had to keep driving until he could turn around and get back.

The trailer was in the inside lane of Interstate 244 on the northwest corner of the IDL near the Broken Arrow Expressway exit.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a Tulsa motorcycle officer and News On 6 photojournalist Gary Kruse pitched in to clean up the roadway and upright the trailer so traffic could begin to move again.
