Police say a Crime Stoppers tip on September 29 about location of a Tulsa burglary victim's stolen car led to an arrest and recovery of the car.
On September 13, police said the 98-year-old victim, woke up to discover her home near 31st and Mingo burglarized and her older model Buick LaSabre stolen.
Police believe thieves got in the elderly woman's home through a bathroom window, grabbed the car keys, a television and left.
Thanks to the tip, burglary detectives set up surveillance and Wednesday just before noon stopped a male juvenile driving the stolen Buick near Apache and Peoria.
When questioned, police said the juvenile confessed. They said he was arrested and booked into the Tulsa County jail as a youthful offender.
