Police say EMSA paramedics were attacked while treating a patient early Saturday at a restaurant parking lot.

Officers said the assault happened in the parking lot of Tacos Don Francisco in the 7900 block of East 21th Street near Memorial just before 2 a.m.

Police said while EMSA treated a victim of an assault in the restaurant's parking lot, three men involved in a disturbance inside the restaurant went outside and starting throwing beer bottles and rocks at the paramedics. Police were called, but before they arrived, the restaurant's security had taken the trio into custody.

Police arrested Emilo Vasquez, 28, Elmer Buezo, 18, and Rapheal Meija, 28, all of Tulsa.  All three were booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of assault with a deadly weapon on emergency personnel.

Police said the EMSA paramedics were not injured.
