Police had to chase down a man twice after stopping a pickup for a traffic violation early Friday.

Officers said Justin Ford, 23, was a passenger in a Dodge Dakota pickup that had been stopped in the 8300 block of East Admiral just after 2 a.m.

As police were talking with the three people in the truck, Ford got out and ran away.

Officers chased him down and took Ford into custody.  After getting him back to truck, Ford took off again but was recaptured after a second foot chase.

Police said a search of the truck turned up what appeared to be Meth.  The other two people in the pickup, Michael Riddick, 31, and Melisa Duke, 37, were also arrested.

All three were booked into the Tulsa County jail on drug possession complaints.  Ford was also booked on two additional complaints of escaping from arrest.
Jail records show Justin Ford, Michael Riddick and Melisa Duke have an October 2 court appearance scheduled.
