Claremore Man Arrested For Buying Tractor With Fake Cash

Verdigris Police and Rogers County deputies arrested a man accused of using nine counterfeit 100 dollar bills to buy a tractor. 

The victim put the tractor for sale on Craigslist.  He says Buddy Rogers paid $900, then left. 

The victim quickly realized the money was fake and called police. Deputies say the edges of the bills were not cut right, the paper was the wrong thickness, and there was no watermark.

Rogers faces nine counts of forgery.
