Take your umbrella with you Sunday as a line of widespread showers and storms moves east across the state. Very heavy rainfall can be expected at times.
In addition to the heavy rainfall, there will be thunder and lightning - but the severe threat is low. The rain is keeping things cooled down with highs in the mid 70s.
The showers will continue to impact us through the morning hours with chances decreasing through the afternoon hours. Chances will decrease as the rain tapers from north to south.
Southeastern Oklahoma will see the rain Sunday afternoon though there are chances of leftover storms across the state.
More rain is expected late Sunday into the morning Monday.
The week ahead will see a slow and steady warming trend with above normal temperatures.
