Tulsa firefighters are investigating a house fire in the 9000 block of East 59th Place. Crews were called to the home shortly before 10 a.m. Friday.
No one was home when the fire broken out, authorities told News On 6. The fire started in the back of the house then spread to the attic and roof. Fire investigators are working to determine how it started.
"Whenever we arrived, there was heavy flame showing on the back side, and it vented through the roof within seconds when we arrived," said Captain Thomas Hufford, Tulsa Fire Department.
There are no reports of any injuries, and no damage estimate as yet.
