Tulsa Rape Suspect Sitting In Creek County Jail, Police Say

Police have identified a man they believe sexually assaulted a woman walking near the OSU-Tulsa campus in mid-August.  

Tulsa Police's Sex Crimes detectives say he is 42-year-old Eugene Todd Nunley of Tulsa.  

They said the assault occurred near the 900 block of North Greenwood on August 13.  The victim was a homeless woman who had been sitting on a bench along the Osage Prairie trail at the time.

Detectives located Nunley in the Creek County jail where he is being held on unrelated charge.

Tulsa Police got a first-degree rape warrant for Nunley and say once he is released from the Creek County jail, he will be transferred to the Tulsa County jail.
