Three eastern Oklahoma counties are holding special elections Tuesday.
In Creek County, voters living in Mounds and Oilton are deciding whether to renew a 25-year franchise agreement with OG&E.
And Depew School District voters have a $4.845-million bond issue on the ballot. The bond issue would fund the building of a new domed cafeteria for the school district that would double as a tornado shelter and also make improvements to the district's elementary school building.
The Cameron School District in LeFlore County also has two propositions on the ballot. The first is a $260,000 bond issue to be used for construction and the second, a $240,000 bond issue for purchasing school buses.
Voters in the city of Krebs, in Pittsburg County, are deciding the question whether the city clerk/city treasurer can be appointed by the mayor with confirmation by the city council.
Polls in all three counties are open until 7 p.m.
