A Claremore man has died after a wreck near Vinita in Craig County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Troopers say Terrance C. Otis suffered an unknown medical condition when he wrecked on the Will Rogers Turnpike Saturday morning.

Otis was in critical condition when he was taken by air ambulance to St. Francis in Tulsa. He died early Sunday morning. The medical examiner will determine the cause of his death, according to a collision report.

OHP said Otis was eastbound on the Interstate and when his vehicle veered left and struck the center barrier. His Chevrolet Equinox continued about 800 feet along the wall before coming to a stop. Another eastbound car was hit by flying debris, but the driver wasn't hurt.
