The superintendent of Tulsa Public Schools continues to take input on the district. She's met with teachers and administrators, now she's meeting with parents.

A meeting Thursday night at East Central high school was the first of the public input sessions on a new five-year plan for TPS.

It follows the meeting that Dr. Deborah Gist had recently with school principals and several meetings with teachers about problems and solutions.

The parent meetings, like the ones with school staff, will be interactive, and Dr. Gist has said she really wants to hear the good and the bad about Tulsa Public Schools so a new plan can be developed.

Nine meeting are planned. They run this month and next, all at high schools.

Strategic Plan Community Meeting Schedule

Parents can go to any of them it doesn't have to be your school.  Each meeting begins at 6 p.m.
