If you're like many of us, you've come to rely on a certain search engine for getting information. "Google it" is something many of us do or say on a daily basis.
Well, the Internet is a buzz Tuesday with Google's logo change. It's not the first logo tweak in the company's 17-year history, but is one the company says has a particular emphasis.
"These days, people interact with Google products across many different platforms, apps and devices—sometimes all in a single day. You expect Google to help you whenever and wherever you need it, whether it’s on your mobile phone, TV, watch, the dashboard in your car, and yes, even a desktop!" the company said in a blog explaining the evolution of their logo.
"Today we’re introducing a new logo and identity family that reflects this reality and shows you when the Google magic is working for you, even on the tiniest screens."
The new logo includes a mic and a four-color "G" to help users connect whether they're talking, tapping or typing.
"We think we’ve taken the best of Google (simple, uncluttered, colorful, friendly), and recast it not just for the Google of today, but for the Google of the future."
Comment below on what you think of the change.
