Fire Destroys Semi On Turner Turnpike Near Bristow Exit

The westbound lanes of the Turner Turnpike near Bristow are now open after semi caught fire early Wednesday.  

Firefighters are working to determine what started the fire which destroyed the truck and trailer just before 1 a.m.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol closed the westbound lanes for almost two hours at the scene between the Kellyville and Bristow exits.  Troopers said no one was injured.
