Fire Marshal Investigating Fatal Coweta House Fire

The State Fire Marshal is investigating after a Coweta house fire claimed the life of 74-year-old woman.

It happened Tuesday at about 5:30 p.m. near 151st and Division Street.  According to the Coweta American, the victim is Alpha Cooper.

They say she was on oxygen and was in the house alone. They said her husband was outside mowing at the time of the fire.

Her husband didn't know the house was on fire, according to reports.

Investigators are now trying to determine a cause.
