Mother Of Kids Found Wandering BA Expressway Back In Jail

A Green County mother is back in jail without bond on two counts of child neglect.

Lindze Arrington was arrested in March after her 2- and 4-year-old children walked away from their home.

The children were found wandering on the Broken Arrow Expressway.

The responding officer said he recognized the two children and took them to their house, but when they arrived no one was home.

The initial report says over an hour passed before Arrington was seen walking around and looking for the children.

Because the children were alone for an hour and were inches from traffic, the report says Arrington was arrested for two counts of failure to provide for a minor child.

Tuesday, Arrington was back in court for a hearing and the judge ordered her back to jail after she tested positive in a court-ordered drug test.
