Oklahoma Teachers Receive Surprise Cash Rewards

Four Oklahoma Career Tech teachers got a big surprise Monday.

Express Employment handed out cash awards to four outstanding educators in the Oklahoma Career Tech system. The top teacher of the year received $10,000.

Biomedical Science teacher, Jackie Archer, said the money will help her students be even more prepared for a career in biomedicine.

"For my school, for my students, for my classroom, is that's going to create more real world experiences for them. And when they get that real world experience it actually helps them be better prepared for the workforce in Oklahoma," she said.

This is the second year Express Employment has recognized our state's top Tech teachers.
