Man With Shotgun Robs Tulsa Stop N Save

Tulsa police said a man with a shotgun robbed the Stop N Save convenience store at 16th and Memorial just before 8 a.m. Monday. The clerk complied with the robber's demands, and he took off with an undisclosed amount of money.

"It's very unusual; this stuff doesn't usually happen this time of day," said Sergeant Ken Simpson, TPD.

Police pulled over a man shortly after the robbery who matched the suspect description. He was arrested for an outstanding juvenile issue but not for the robbery.

"It turns out that will probably not be the suspect," Simpson said.

No one was injured in the robbery.
