Multi-Vehicle Wreck Snarls Traffic Near Hard Rock Casino In Catoosa

A multi-vehicle wreck caused congestion on Interstate 44 near Highway 412 in Catoosa. The wreck took place in the eastbound lanes of the highway shortly before noon Saturday.

Early indications are that there were no serious injuries.

Traffic slowed to around 20 mph as emergency crews clear the scene which was right across from the Hard Rock Casino.

There is also construction in the area due to a repaving project. If you can avoid the area by taking the Creek Turnpike, it's recommended to do so.

The Oklahoma Turnpike Authorities re-routed drivers onto the Creek last weekend due to the construction traffic.
