Former members of Tulsa's Bloods and Crips gangs are trying to change lives.
They've organized a unity picnic, hoping to convince young gang members to stop the violence.
Robert Jones is a former Hoover Crip. He was shot twice and in prison three times before he decided to change his life.
He's been a hard-working family man for more than 20 years and said he's now friends with people he used to target.
"It's crazy because now, we're friends again, some I go to church with. People who were from the other side, I would shoot at them and they would shoot at me," he said.
The unity picnic is 2:00 Sunday afternoon at Crawford Park at 2425 North Hartford Avenue.
They will have free food and drinks, a Jupiter jump, haircuts for boys, nail painting for girls and several other games.
