Man Points Rifle At Tulsa Motel Clerk During Robbery

Police are looking for a man who used a rifle to rob a clerk at an east Tulsa motel early Wednesday morning.

Officers said a man in his 20s walked into the Motel 6 in the 12500 block of East 52nd Street near 129th East Avenue at about 12:15 a.m. and demanded money from the night clerk.  

The clerk told police the man was wearing a black bandana over his face. After giving the man the money, the clerk said the man ran out the door and towards the west.  

Police searched the area but could not find the man.  They said the clerk was not injured.
