Silver Alert Issued After Muskogee Woman Walks Away From Hospital

The Muskogee Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a 58-year-old woman who has dementia.

According to the report, Ellen Sparrow walked away from the EastStar West Hospital in Muskogee sometime between midnight at 8 a.m. on Wednesday.

Police say that in addition to dementia, Sparrow has schizophrenia and a failing liver.

The alert sent by authorities did not contain a physical description except that Sparrow is a white woman with a medium build.
