Tulsa Police: Man Wounds Daughter Shooting At Her Boyfriend's Car

A 27-year-old woman showed up at a Tulsa hospital Tuesday night with a gunshot wound telling police her father had shot her. 

Police identify the suspect as Paul McClellan, 55.

Tulsa Police said the victim said she'd been arguing with her boyfriend when her father picked her up and took her to his home in the 2500 block of West 50th Place. She said once they arrived, she argued with McClellan so she called her boyfriend, who picked her up at about 10:30 p.m.  

The victim said her father fired a gun at her boyfriend's car as they drove off. Police said a bullet went through a back window and hit the woman in the upper back.  

Officers said the woman was treated and released from the hospital.

They booked Paul McClellan into the Tulsa County jail on two complaints of assault with a dangerous weapon.
