Tulsa Police are searching for Galon Brown in connection to a shooting death Sunday at the Windsor Village Apartment complex in midtown. Julian Harris died after being taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound.
Homicide Sergeant Dave Walker said Harris drove to the parking lot in a silver Buick and got into a fight with people at the complex. During the fight, one person was shot in the foot, and a person behind that man shot Harris.
Police said Harris' car then wrecked into a tree, and three people ran west and went into an apartment.
Walker said after several hours of "half-truths and outright lies," they identified one of the people as 33-year-old Galon Brown.

Police recovered a handgun at the apartment, but it didn't match the shell casings found at the scene. Walker said that leads them to believe Brown should be considered armed and dangerous.
Galon Brown is a black male, 6'04" and 200 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Walker said Brown reportedly has a noticeable deformity to his left eye. He is a convicted felon who served time for trafficking in illegal drugs and related charges.
"Tulsa Police Homicide Unit needs to talk to Galon Brown about his role in shooting Julian Harris. At this time we have not been able to locate Brown and we believe he is eluding law enforcement," Walker said.
