Boil Order, Mandatory Water Rationing In Effect For Caney, Kansas

A boil order and mandatory water rationing are in effect for the residents of Caney, Kansas.

We’re told the water levels in the water tower have dropped, forcing the orders.

Stormchaser Pascal van Schijndel reports that the water plant is out of service due to an intake issue and will probably be done until the end of the weekend.

There is no set time frame for how long the orders will last. Officials said they are using the time to see how much water they can get back in the tower.
