Police are investigating after finding a stabbing victim in the parking garage of a Tulsa hospital late Wednesday.

Officers said initially, they were sent to the Brighton Park Apartments in the 4700 block of South Darlington just after 11 p.m. concerning a stabbing incident.  At the complex police said they did not find a crime scene or a victim.

Shortly thereafter, officers got a call that a stabbing victim had showed up at St. Francis hospital on South Yale.  Police officers said the victim appeared to be intoxicated with a non-life threatening knife wound to the upper back.

Upon further investigation, police located the other person involved and contacted them by phone.  That person told officers they had stabbed the man during a scuffle. The other party said they had left town because they were afraid they had killed the victim.

Police said detectives are now trying to determine what happened.  So far no one has been arrested.
