Driver Killed In East Tulsa Car Crash Identified

Police say a 26-year-old man died after a car crash late Tuesday in east Tulsa.

Officers said the crash happened in the 4300 block of South Mingo just before 10:30 p.m. They said the driver, identified as James Cole Henson, had just exited off the Broken Arrow Expressway at Mingo when for some unknown reason went through a traffic light, jumped the median and struck a light pole.  

Police say Henson was pronounced dead at the scene.  They said no one else was in the car at the time of the crash.

Police are still trying to determine what caused the fatal crash.
