Tulsa Mom Jailed After Child Found Wandering 11th Street

Tulsa Police arrested a woman for child endangerment after they say her 3-year-old daughter was found wandering alone. Child Crisis Detectives say the child was found walking in the 9700 block of 11th Street around 4 p.m. Saturday.

Erika Nicole Collins, 31, is being held on a $25,000 bond.

The little girl couldn't tell police her name or where she lives. After police tried to locate the child's parents for two hours, she was taken to a shelter, according to an arrest report. 

Authorities say she was reported missing around 9:30 that night when Collins waived down a patrol car that was passing the area where the child was found.

Records show Collins had a similar incident with the same child in July 2014. That time the little girl was found in the Walmart at 207 South Memorial where she was apparently alone for over an hour, an arrest reports state.
