Oklahoma DAV Hosts Convention At Hard Rock Tulsa

The Oklahoma DAV convention is taking place in Catoosa this week.

The Oklahoma DAV says it provides free, professional assistance to all men and women who served in the armed forces, both stateside and abroad, in obtaining benefits and services earned through military service.

The DAV says more than 350,000 Oklahoma men and women have served in the armed forces, but less than 20 percent of them are taking advantage of the life-long benefits and services for which they are eligible.

U.S. Congressman Jim Bridenstine, a U.S. Navy veteran, helped kick off the convention on Monday, June 22, 2015.

The Oklahoma DAV is holding an Information & Benefits Seminar Tuesday afternoon at the Hard Rock Hotel And Casino:

Tuesday, June 23
3:30 – 5 p.m.
Convention Center – Grand Hall of the Cherokees

The DAV will also be holding On-site claims filing Tuesday evening from 5 - 6 p.m.
