A new medical facility in Jenks will open its doors next month. Officials with the Bristow Medical Center say its new Jenks Center for Orthopaedic Reconstruction and Excellence brings 130 jobs in the community.
The new 51,000 square foot full-service hospital is located at the corner of Highway 75 and West Main Street.
“The decision to invest in a new campus is unique in an industry where rural hospitals are often acquired by a larger metro health system,” said Jan Winter Clark, CEO of Bristow Medical Center and co-owner of CORE.
“Our patients are our primary focus and this new facility will better serve all of our patients in Jenks, Bristow, and Cushing due to its strategic location.”
The Bristow Medical Center is a 30-bed hospital and emergency room and the new Jenks facility will have 25 in-patient beds, a physical therapy wing and a 24-hour emergency room.
