Sources: Seals To Be Promoted To Assistant Coach

It is believed that the University of Tulsa will promote Shea Seals to an assistant coach position on Frank Haith's staff.

Seals, Tulsa's career leading scorer with 2,288 points, has spent the past three seasons as the director of player development.

As News On 6 Sports has previously reported, former Missouri standout Kim English will join the staff and replace Seals in the player development role. That position can work with players, but cannot recruit prospects off-campus.

The staff changes, including which assistant coach is leaving to make room for Seals' promotion, are expected to be finalized by the university on Monday.
