The NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series kicked off Friday morning at the Tulsa Raceway Park and will continue through Sunday.
The event is one of 44 scheduled across the country where drivers can earn points leading to divisional, regional and national championships. Racers will also get a chance at a share in the year-end purse of more than $519,000.
The viewing pleasure will include Top Alcohol Dragster, Top Alcohol Funny Car, Comp Eliminator, Super Stock, Stock Eliminator, Super Comp, Super Gas and Super Street.
Gates open to the public at 8:00 a.m. each day.
Tickets will be $20.00 all three days. Children 12 and under are free with paid adult.
-Time trials begin at 10:00 a.m.
-Top Dragster, Top Sportsman and Comp Eliminator start eliminations at 3:00 p.m.
-The Harley-Davidson Drag Racing Series classes begin eliminations at 3:10 p.m.
-Top Alcohol Dragster and Top Alcohol Funny Car eliminations begin at 4:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
-Eliminations for all classes continue at 8:00 a.m.
