Police arrested a 43-year-old man in midtown Tulsa Wednesday evening after finding an elaborate marijuana growing operation in an apartment near Hillcrest Medical Center.

Officers served a search warrant at two apartments in the 1100 block of South St. Louis. Inside, police confiscated 40 marijuana plants and the equipment to grow the plants.

Police said the search and arrest of Michael Hall followed a two month investigation.

Officers said Hall was living one of the apartments and had the plants in the apartment next door. Hall was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of cultivation of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and contempt of court.

Jail records show Michael Hall is being held on a bond of $21,405 with a court appearance set for June 17.
