A Checotah man won the Walmart Bass Fishing League Okie Division Event on Skiatook Lake. The tournament was moved to Skiatook after high lake levels at Eufaula and Grand forced the change.
Sean McAllister weighed four bass totaling 16 pounds, 13 ounces to win the $4,618.
He said each of the four keepers came from the same 150-yard stretch, in some timber flats near Cedar Creek. One was a 6-pound, 15-ounce fish that tied for the biggest bass of the tournament.
