The Humane Society of Tulsa hosted a Pet Wellness Fair from 12 to 5 p.m. Sunday. It's located in midtown Tulsa at the Campbell Hotel & Event Center, 2630 East 11th Street.
People took their furry friends for free services like nail trimming, pet ID tags, pet photos and screenings for ears, eyes and teeth.
There was also low-cost testing for heartworms, feline leukemia and AIDS, $20 microchipping and free microchip scans.
Organizers say the event was a big success with over 100 people attending in the first hour alone.
The event is sponsored by the Humane Society of Tulsa, Oklahoma Alliance for Animals, Tulsa Community College and VCA Animal Hospitals.
