There was quite a challenge Saturday at Tulsa Tech's Riverside campus as teams tried to pull a 100,000 pound airplane, all in the name of charity.

A total of 18 different teams competed in the ultimate tug of war - trying for the fastest time to pull the aircraft.

All money raised goes to support Camp Fire Green Country. The program serves youth from at-risk circumstances through after-school programs.

In the past, some teams have pulled the plane in as little as four seconds.

Volunteer, Shannon Bowen said, "I think today we've had kids pull maybe five seconds, but basically it is just trying to pull for the kids. It is just to have fun and pull for the kids."

Annually, around 2,000 people show up for the event.

This was the fundraisers 16th year.
